Gotta love some Glitters and Sparks

So apparantly fall has started here in The Netherlands… So I decided to keep the sun shining in my wardrobe, literally shining, with an awesome glittery skirt. I adore the trend of combining something girly with something boyish, like an oversized jeans blouse or an oversized sweater. I found my skirt at H&M and combine it with an oversized vintage boyfriend blouse I found in a vintage store in Amsterdam.

Election day it is!

Today is election day in The Netherlands, and frankly it kind of bores me… In the US elections still have this hint of show to them, a bit of glamour, a sense of unity, or at least that's how I see it…
I will definitely cast my vote today, I can still see the importance of course and I did my homework on all the different parties we have here… But here is my twist on politics, FASHION! If you think about it, how many fashionable politicians are there in the world, pretty much none. To me there is only one person that changed politics and fashion forever, the ever gorgeous and stylish Jacky Kennedy, oh and let's not forget Carrie Bradshaw in the politician episodes… Happy voting day everyone :).

Wow its been a while, graduating and blogging isn't the most ideal combination… But I promise that this is the first blogpost of many more to follow!
Summer is coming to an end unfortunately, and stores and webshops are stocking up on fall/winter clothing and accessories. I find myself completely obsessing over Aztec prints; shoes, bracelets, shirts and cardigans, I cannot get enough of it. Aztec prints are a fab way to give your fall/winter wardrobe a hint of color and an outlook for spring...
I love to shop for Aztec prints on Hippy markets like Las Dalias in Ibiza, but also little vintage stores like Jutka en Riska in Amsterdam and Antwerp.

Amsterdam Dinners: Everything on a Stick

Inspired by food sticks that are sold at food stands alongside the roads all over the world, the idea for everything on a stick was born.
Everything on a stick is an upscale all-you-can-eat restaurant, and as you've might already expected, all the dishes are skewered! Indulge in lamb on a rosemary stick, or scallops wrapped in bacon. Or how about skewered potato chips or honey glazed salmon?
The menu is served in a somewhat cosmopolitan and modern atmosphere, with inspiring places around the world projected on the wall!
The portions were a bit small and  the time in between ordering and for the food to arrive was too long, however maybe the waiting made the food taste even better and our patience was rewarded.
The restaurant in located in downtown Amsterdam alongside the canals, perfect for an evening after-dinner stroll...
